The Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu declared the AP budget for the fiscal year 2016-2017 yesterday. The Finance Minister said that this is the first e-budget in the assembly history. The new budget has paved way for the development of infrastructures like Highway expansion, building new airports and industrial buildings.


The TDP Government targets for 10.9% increase in the present fiscal year 2016-2017. The total estimated budget for AP is 1,35,688 crores and the planned expenditure is 49,134.44 crores and the unplanned expenditure is 86,544. 55 crores and the deficit growth are estimated at 20,497 crores.


In the field of Agriculture the budget is 8.4% and for constructing Amaravathi city the budget is 1500 crores, for smart villages the budget is 3,100 crores, for law and order approximately 4785.14 crores, for employment assurance 4764.71 crores, for various community pensions 2998 crores, for Municipal administration 4728 crores.


For the welfare of BC, SC and ST the AP government’s budget is 8832, 8724 and 3100 crores, for loan waiver nearly 3512 crores is planned, primary education will meet out at 17,502 crores and for irrigation department was 7325 crores and for Polavaram scheme they have planned approximately around 3660 crores for the same.
