Leader of the opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy giving notices to no confidence motion against AP government headed by CM Chandra Babu Naidu to the speaker surprised everyone. His acts are now triggering discussion among political parties and analysts.
Though Jagan's no confidence will be defeated due to lack of numbers,Jagan without having any number giving notices has bigger hidden strategy. Since Jagan has given notice for no confidence motion, speaker has no other go but to accept it in the assembly.The question is will the assembly discuss it in this session or will it get postponed till the next assembly session will be decided on 14 March.
Discussion will take place in all possibility in this assembly session.YSRCP discussed for hours before bringing in no confidence motion. It is known that 8 YSRCP MLAs joined TDP and till now seperate seats are not alloted to them. Currently they are sitting in opposition benches and so they are not officially TDP members.
TDP is not caring about Jagan's challenge asking these MLAs to resign and contest. Jagan is planning to get them disqualified at any cost and during no confidence motion,he plans to issue whip and get them suspended if they defy the whip and this will automatically disqualify them.
