A tragic incident has took place in Sanga reddy where a swarm of honey bees has taken a life. The swarm of bees attacked a funeral process and it leaves one person dead and another 30 injured. The bees attacked all the people who participated in the funeral session and Jagan (50) who was stung by bees passed away.
This shocking incident took place at Hothi Village of Zaheerabad mandal of the district. As per Zaheerabad Rural sub-inspector of police Satyanarayana, a funeral was conducted for Peddabai Pentamma (90) and more than 200 relatives and villagers attended the funeral to take the body to graveyard on the outskirts of village.
And as they reached the outskirts, they were attacked by a swarm of honey bees and people ran towards shelter in order to escape from the bees. A close relative of the deceased, Jagan who was 50 years old was surrounded and stung by bees.
Jagan died at the spot as soon as he was stung by bees. 30 people suffered major injuries and they were taken to hospitals in Zaheerabad. And among the 30, four people got serious and they were shifted to Sangareddy Government hospital.
