Andhra Pradesh Minister Kollu Ravindra has laid the foundation stone for an Indoor Power Sub-station and this 33/11 KV Power Sub-station will come up in Laxmanaraopuram area with an estimated cost of Rs.4 crores.


The project which was kept on hold for financial reasons is finally started and the foundation stone laying ceremony happened yesterday. Kollu Ravindra who is the minister for Excise and BC Welfare also laid foundation stones for cement concrete roads and central lighting system.


This project will be made at a cost of Rs.25 Lakhs. The Minister who later spoke to press said that Andhra Pradesh is the only state not to have any power cuts and the state is having surpass power amounts. He also said that the Government will further establish more Power sub-stations to avoid flickering of current.


The project is expected to be completed in six months time and all the resources were already provided.  The minister also assured that all projects will be completed in short span and will be made beneficial.
