Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha opened Tanjore collectorate building on June 6, 2015. She opened it through Video conferencing and this building was built at a cost of Rs.30 Crores. The building was built at a place which belongs to 'Tamil University'.
Today morning, the roof has collapsed and that has caused some ripples. However, no one is injured in this mishap. But to hide this, Officials immediately applied cement and covered the hole. There was no proper concrete in the roof. If this incident has happened during working hours, definitely there would have been some lives lost.
A newly built building which is just 9 months old has been crippled and this has shocked everyone. A social activist said, "Even before starting the construction there were huge ripples against this building.
But still the Government started the work. Jayalalitha who was behind bars due to disappropriate case released this building in video conferencing. Minister Vaidilingam will quite proudly say that this new collectorate came into life due to ADMK. Now we are looking towards his response."
