Election Commission has advised authorities not to trouble traders who take money for business. Assembly elections are all set to begin on May 16th and Election Commission is tightening screws on all parties.

To avoid 'Money based votes', the EC is making consistent checks on all hot spots and they have seized lots of money so far. But this has even troubled traders and producers as they carry money for business.

In this case, Electorate Commission Officer Rajesh Lakhoni said, "In Tamil Nadu, there are 32 districts and we have formed flying squad to trap them. Each district has a separate team spearheaded by District collector to track them down. Special practices were provided to them. If traders are carrying money, they should not be disturbed.

If they have valid documents, their money should be returned at once. Till the elections are over, we request traders to carry valid documents if they possess a sum of more than Rs.1 Lakh. If they are carrying more than 10 Lakhs, they must inform the Income Tax department."
