The senior congress leader Sushilkumar Shinde has said that his party will meet the President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday for the state of affairs at the Hyderabad Central University. The former Home Minister has stated that his party will fight for justice of the Dalit Research Scholar Rohith Vemula who has committed suicide on January 19th.
Shinde has told the broadcasters that he has seen such a big incident and he will meet the President of our country along with few MP’s. Shinde has earlier met the jailed students and has asked them about Appa Rao about taking charge as VC, when the case is still pending against him.
Shinde also said some students were forced by the police officials to sign in some papers. Meanwhile Rohith’s mother Radhika has met Shinde and has told him to put pressure on the government and get the arrested students from jail and also to bring Rohith Act.
Rohith’s mother has asked them to release the students as they are innocent and she blamed the VC as he should have behaved like a father, but he has acted senselessly. Telangana PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, MP Rajeev Satav, NSUI National President Roji M.John also accompanied Shinde.
