The speaker when commenting on the report has said the analytical data will support the AP Legislators to work with more attention on the issues. The Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa’s Pedappuram Constituency in the East Godavari has ranked 51.


The other Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy’s Constituency Pattikonda in Kurnool was got the rank of 144 in making the water available and latrine facility. In AP, only 35.8% households have water facility within their premises and the poor performance are made at Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts.


The Tourism area Araku Valley is the poorest and worst constituency ranking 175th and the East Vijayawada Constituency is in the top position. There are around 670 revenue mandals with 1.2 crores households and 175 Assembly Constituencies. Only 47.5% houses in AP have toilets inside their premises.


As per the recent report, the availability of toilet facilities in households is at an increasing rate in urban areas than in rural areas. The Vishakhapatnam constituency has ranked from nine to twelve whereas Vijayawada constituency has got the rank from one to three. Rajahmundry ranks at five and Tenali, Guntur town and Tirupathi too ranked high.
