From tomorrow on wards, the prices in Toll booths will be increased. Truck owners association has condemned this sudden hike in toll fee. Central Government has announced that from April 1st, all major Toll booths will have increase in prices.
Now this has shocked Truck drivers. Regarding this President of Truck owner association said, "We are repay to pay one whole year's toll as a whole to Central Government. But it is difficult to digest the sudden raise in toll prices. We request central Government to reconsider this decision.
Already there has been an increase in Vehicle insurance and other criteria too." Now even before this plea has reached central government, the association has decided to stage a protest on April 3rd.
Lorry Owner's association and Truck driver's association will participate in this protest and all trucks and lorries will come to halt on April 3rd. However there has been muted response from the central Government. Tamil Nadu Government also never condemned this hike in Toll booth prices.
