The cop have arrested an Italian nurse on the suspicion of giving 13 patients wrong dose of blood thinning drug when they were in the intensive care unit. In the Tuscan town of Piombino, a 55 year old nurse named Fausta Bonino has killed the inpatients between 2014 and 2015.
The victims who have died all aged between 61 and 88. Initially the investigators believed that all the victims were seriously ill and not terminally ill and they had suffered internally as they were given anticoagulant drugs which are used to prevent blood clotting.
According to the AGI News Agency it was found that she was the only staff member who have involved in all the cases after a study of recent abnormal deaths which was identified recently. The Health Minister Beatrice Lorenzin has said in the horror rankings they have reached a new peak of human misery.
The Italians are still in shock after another nurse who was also jailed for life which has happened earlier this month. Daniele Poggiali who was 44 years old was found guilty of injecting a 78 year old patient with the lethal solution of potassium chloride at a Hospital in Ravenna in North Eastern Italy and she is also suspected of killing other patients.
