Before bifurcation, many in the TRS party had threatened to grab
the famous Ramoji Film City but after becoming the CM, KCR was not just
confined to praising the media baron Ramoji Rao and his film city, but
he also described Ramoji as ‘Pride of Telangana’.
Ramoji
who had no single award to his credit till now was straightaway honored
with ‘Padma Vibhushan’. This was a move that had surprised many and it
is being said that Ramoji was the man behind the magnum opus ‘Baahubali’
that bagged the national award for best feature film.
The
movie was extensively shot in RFC and hence an award to Baahubali would
be further enhancing the prestige of RFC. Otherwise, there was no
precedent wherein an incomplete movie was adjudged as the best movie.
Somehow
all the set of events prove that media baron Ramoji Rao is commanding
immense clout at the Centre while Chandrababu Naidu does not have even
miniscule of the acumen this time. Well in that case should Ramoji Rao
then handle the issue of special status with Modi?
