Though Newton’s third law states about every action having equal and opposite reaction, this law doesn’t apply to all fields and especially not in politics. But the situation in Indian political scenario is very much like that. More than tackling an accusation, criticism or allegation in the politically correct manner, reactive gestures are happening.  This is seen more in Andhra Pradesh where parties like YSR Congress, TDP, TRS, Congress are busy hurling abuses against each other. Instead of responding in a dignified manner, if one party member calls the other a ‘dog’ the reply comes ‘no, you are a dog’. This kind of approach is taking the image of politics to a very down level.  At a time when there is an urgent need for young leaders to enter politics and fresh ideas to be generated, this sort of reactive gestures and not hesitating to abuse or resort to physical acts like throwing mikes in the parliament are only helping in degrading the respect. It is about time our leaders wake up and show some maturity.
