One has to understand the politically astute mind of TDP boss and
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. Power Star Pawan Kalyan played a
key role in consolidation of Kapu vote bank which eventually ensured TDP
victory in 2014 elections in the residuary state.
Sources
say that Chandrababu is worried over what will happen in case Pawan
really backs out. This is because BJP is fully ready to use him to
maximum extent possible and few moves are already being made in this
regard. Hence, Babu has reportedly drawn Plan B if Pawan becomes a rival
for TDP.
Babu may be extending an olive branch
to Nandamuri Hari Krishna again by agreeing for an extension of his
Rajya Sabha membership. In return, both Kodali Nani and the young tiger
Junior NTR would be asked to fully extend services for TDP. This move is
quite beneficial for the party.
At the same
time there is also a fear that Junior NTR may upstage Babu's son and TDP
future boss Nara Lokesh, but again many TDP leaders are of the view
that all this bonhomie will only be till 2019 elections. If TDP wins or
loses again, no one will bother about NTR again!
