The AIADMK has declared the prohibition in phases, the PMK has chosen to retain the hold over its most favorite matter by promising stringent measures to implement the policy at one go. The party’s manifesto was discharged on Friday, and has assured a law to make right sentence as the maximum punishment for disturbing spurious liquor.


A separate court would be set up to try such cases within six months. It is also said that officials in whose area illegal liquor is found would be suspended. As per the manifesto promises like free education for all, education kit which includes ipads and free internet, and right from pen to free bus passes everything will be given free to students.


Education was the primary focus. The party has also promised to pay the fees of even those students who are studying in private schools till the quality of government schools is bought on par with that of elite private schools.


The PMK’s Chief Electoral candidate Anbumani Ramadass has told that the state has great potential in developing variety of hubs which includes one’s focused on medical tourism, international warehousing and information technology. The manifesto’s promises also include caste census and extending 100% reservation which is based on population communities.
