Mr. Vijayakanth was addressing an election meeting in the rural Vazhappadi town here on Tuesday evening and he has told that he will never forgive both the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) as they had betrayed the interest of the people of the state for five decades.
The DMDK Party Leader Vijayakanth has stated that “I may forgive my enemies, but will never forgive those who betrayed the interest of the people”. He has said that the leaders of these parties are repeatedly posing the question whether Vijayakanth has possessed the qualities to be declared as the chief ministerial candidate.
The leaders of both these parties had indulged in corrupt practices and irregularities and amassed huge wealth and Vijayakanth has questioned whether he is not competent enough to compete with these leaders in this aspect.
He also added that Jayalalithaa was fooling the people by repeatedly saying “she is of the people and she is for the people”. Meanwhile he has introduced the candidates of DMDK, Tamil Manila Congress, CPI, CPI (M) and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi on the occasion.
