Recently the all party meet took place and the agenda was to take a final call on Telangana issue. The UPA government sought one more month’s time and it is heard that Sonia Gandhi is determined to put an end to the turmoil once for all. But here is one more update which has become significant.
Whether UPA will grant Telangana or not, they are now forced to look at what is happening with Jharkhand. Yet again, the government has collapsed and efforts have begun for a fresh administration. This is the major problem with small states. And the same will rise tomorrow if Telangana is given.
The problems don’t end there. If Telangana is granted then the other states which have been protesting for separations from a long time will also gain encouragement and they will intensify. At a time when UPA is barely in a position to hold its face, will it be in a position to handle this unwanted problems?
