The Telangana issue has created enough turmoil to the people of Andhra Pradesh and it brought a good amount of embarrassment to the Telugu people in front of the nation’s eyes. But this also gave a good platform for many leaders to project themselves and become champions for a cause.
One such person is Lagadapati Rajagopal. The MP from Vijayawada has always stood front challenging the Telangana movement and reiterating from time to time that Andhra Pradesh will be united and will never be separated. At one point, many got confused as to how Lagadapati was so confident.
He may have his own sources and no one really knows the Telangana outcome but few anti-Lagadapati members allege that this is just his way of picking up some fight and gain mileage out of it. They have also called him ‘Jagada’pati. Whether that is true or not, Lagadapati’s belief is still going good so we have to see how long this continues.
