Off late, Telugu Desam Party supremo and Andhra Pradesh CM N
Chandrababu Naidu has been has taking up an aggressive posture towards
the step-motherly attitude by Centre towards Andhra Pradesh when it
comes to releasing adequate funds. It is about time he does that.
His
comments and also from his party colleagues in the recent times has
given an impression that he will bite the bullet with the NDA government
at the Centre. The chances are very strong if PM Narendra Modi
continues to ignore the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.
Now,
many feel that the time has come for Naidu to take this decision since
the Centre has made it clear regarding no need for according any special
category status to Andhra Pradesh. The Niti Ayog has also added fuel to
fire saying Centre is giving more than what is due to the state of AP.
The
senior BJP leader and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu has more or less
been hoodwinking the people that the Niti Ayog is examining the special
status category issue. Now, it is official that AP won’t get this
status. Known as Chanakya, one has to see what will Chandrababu do now!
