The State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has said that the death of two young boys in Adilabad district has apparently from sun stroke resulting from thirst is a result of the state government's failure to ensure availability of drinking water in rural areas.



The district administration was also told to inform the Commission on the action taken to prevent recurrence of similar incidents and compensation paid to the family and the Commission has directed the collector to submit a report by May 20.



The woman and her children has begun their walk to Buddharam and on the way, the children has complained of thirst and to find some water to drink Lachu has asked her children to stay under a tree and went to a nearby mango orchard to get some water.


However, she too was dehydrated by then and fell unconscious in the orchard and has found her two boys dead and the police have told that the police have said the children apparently died of sun stroke and the bodies of the two children were shifted to the government hospital in Chennur for a post-mortem.
