Potluri Vara Prasad is a name needs no introduction to Telugu people. He is famous to political circles as an industrialist and one of the accused in YSR Corruption Cases. He is very famous in film circles, first as a financier and now a popular producer in Telugu and Tamil industries. PVP tried to enter politics with Pawan Kalyan's Janasena but that did not happen. Here are some of the excerpts from his recent interview:
On Janasena:
We started Janasena as a non—political organization. Our vision for Janasena is very different. But Pawan Kalyan made it exactly opposite to what we have planned. So some people like me and others silently came out of it.
On trying Vijayawada MP Seat:
All these are baseless rumours. I did not try for Vijayawada MP seat through Pawan Kalyan. In fact, I am not in India when all this happened before 2014 elections.
On Pawan Kalyan:
There is no plan to make a film with the actor
On YSR and Cases:
I have good relation with Late YSR. I invested in Sakshi for him and getting good returns from the investment. YS did not do anything for me. I even said the same to CBI and ED. I will not do any business related to the government.
On YS Jagan:
I have cordial relation with Jagan as well. But Jagan and me differed on an issue and are not in talking terms now.
