D-Day has finally arrived in Tamil Nadu and celebrities who shy from Public appearances showed their responsible side and came forward to vote. 'Thala' Ajith who usually refrains from Award shows and other functions was the first person to cast his vote.
Along with his wife and mother he came to Government school at Kuppam Beach Road. Rajinikanth also came to vote early and he did his duty at Stella Maris College. This time Rajinikanth kept bouncers while casting his vote and no press people were allowed near the voting area.
Vijay came to Saaligramam to cast his vote. Kamalhaasan who was in spot light cancelled his USA plans and he casted his vote along with his daughter Akshara Haasan and wife Gautami at Corporation School in Teynampet.
Suriya skipped his duty as he is on a vacation in USA. Vivekh, Jiiva, Gautham Menon, Raadhika, Udhayanidhi Stalin and Sivakarthikeyan also casted their votes. Actress Trisha along with her mother Uma Krishnan casted her vote too. Vadivelu did his duty few minutes back and he never responded to media's queries.
