Aeroplanes missing mysteriously mid air is becoming a common phenomenon in the recent past. According to the latest EgyptAir plane bound to Cairo from Paris disappeared from the radar on Thursday over the Mediterranean Sea. The Egypt national carrier is carrying 69 passengers and crew from Paris to Cairo.
EgyptAir on its twitter handle tweeted "An official source at EgyptAir stated that Flight MS804, which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST), heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar," Plane has 59 passengers and 10 crew and was travelling at an altitude of 37000ft when it disappeared after entering Egyptian airspace.
On 31 October last year, Rusia's Metrojet operated airbus A321 crashed in the Sinia killing all 224 passengers on board. During that time Russia and the West suspected ISIS of bombing the plane.
In March,Egyptair plane from Alexandria to Cairo was hijacked and was landed in Cyprus by a man with a fake suicide belt.France avaition authority is not availble for comments.
