Presently the AIADMK chief Jayalalitha looks poised for a win in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and the three times Chief Minister will be the first person after MGR to be elected to two contiguous terms and in Chennai, the DMK has bucked the trend to gain back its stronghold from the ruling party.


The AIADMK chief Jayalalitha promises to implement all the schemes in the manifesto and the people have put a full stop to family rule and she has told that the historic win upholds democracy and she promises to make Tamil Nadu the No. 1 state in the country.


At 1.27 pm it was said that AIADMK councilor ransacks the Kotturpuram DMK election office in chitra nagar and two DMK cadres have been injured and the DMK alliance leads with a margin of over 10,000 votes in Vilavancode, Killiyoor, Padmanabhapuram, Colachel, and with a margin of over 2,000 votes in Kanyakumari and Nagercoil.


The DMK president M.Karunanidhi is likely to win by highest ever margin in his political career and he has extended his lead by 50,524 in Tiruvarur, higher than 50,249, his victory margin in 2006 and the AIADMK cadres paint party flag colors on their faces to celebrate the victory of Assembly elections results 2016, in Madurai on Thursday.
