Reliance Jio which offers a unique combination of Telecom, high speed 4G internet data,digital commerce,media and payment services is expanding its trial phase to retailers.
Reliance in a revolutionary move through Jio began selling its Lyf smartphones with SIM cards enabled for the high-speed service in India's bigger cities. The SIM comes with three months free unlimited data, 45000 minutes voice calls and commercial launch will be just in three months.
Reliance which is not having plans to open Jio service to the consumers expanded its by invitation trial offer to retailers where in retailers can offer a limited number of Jio connections to customers buying Lyf handsets.
Jio's inventory is full with over two million Lyf handsets it imported last diwali and so it plans to clear all of them. Reliance Digital and Reliance Digital Xpress stores have been given a limited number of invitations that can be used to refer customers interested in buying the Lyf phone with the Reliance Jio 4G connection. But there is a cap on the invitations that can be given to a particular Reliance Digital store per day.
