Sources have stated from Heart (Afghanistan) that the PM Narendra Modi was conferred on Saturday morning with Afghanistan’s highest Civilian honor the Amir Amanullah Khan award for this year was declared by Afghan governance.


It is stated that the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has conferred the trophy on Narendra Modi after the two country’s leaders have jointly inaugurated the Afghan-India Friendship Dam, which was previously called as “Salma Dam”, which is re-built with Indian country’s aid.


The External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup has tweeted in his Twitter Page that a true brotherhood is honored here and he has told that the PM is awarded with “Amir Amanullah Khan Award”, which is Afghanistan’s highest and prestigious honor award.


The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived here earlier on Saturday on the first leg of his five nation tour. It is said that he will leave for Qatar late in the day and it is his second leg of his tour.
