Telugu Desam Party’s president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly earned the goodwill of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi by offering Rajya Sabha ticket to the union railway minister Suresh Prabhu. The harmony is mutual at the moment.

Obviously, it is being said that Naidu is expecting something solid in return from Modi as part of reciprocation. Well this is again not something related to the special status to Andhra Pradesh or any special financial package. That segment is now being sidelined for a while.

But it is something related to important posts and positions for TDP leaders at the Centre in government as well as government bodies. One has to see whether Modi will be conceding these demands or not! The presence of TDP members in key areas will be a big boost to Naidu.

Sources say that Naidu has placed a demand for Governor post to Mothkupalli Narasimhulu, one more Minister of State berth for Central cabinet and some nominated posts of central government undertakings. The coming days will reveal whether Modi will oblige or not.
