In order to counter Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the old friends namely Congress and YSR Congress have openly joined hands. They are now using Mudragada Padmanabham’s Deeksha as a ruse for that. Kapu Leaders had a meeting in Hyderabad.
This brought together most of the Kapu leaders of both the parties. While Megastar Chiranjeevi, Darsakaratna Dasari and Ramachandraiah came from Congress leaders like Botsa, Dadisetty Raja and Ambati Rambabu represented YSR Congress at the meet.
Here, the Congressmen have also extended their full support to Sakshi and then also condemned the ban on the News Channel. Sakshi is a political weapon for YSR Congress. Now as the friendship grows between them, YSR Congress is being seen only as a breakaway faction of Congress.
With TDP and BJP alliance struggling to be in the good books of Andhra Pradesh state people, an alliance or merger with the Congress is always on the cards for Jagan Mohan Reddy. This so called common platform fights is being seen as the first step in that direction.
