Anger has swept across Kashmir valley as a hostel warden has thrashed under privilege tribal girl students and she has injured a dozen of them at the Gujjar and Bakerwal hostel, Srinagar.
Police have registered a case against the warden, Dr.Shabnum while the director of school education Kashmir, Dr Shah Faesal, has placed her under suspension pending enquiry.
A class X student from Harwan said, "Warden mam asked all the girls why they never went to school and as Class VIII exams are starting they were doing preparations. But she never listened and she started to beat us merciless. She also asked the girls to clean the rooms."
Police have registered a case against the warden but she has not been arrested so far. But as trouble looms, Director of school education Shah Faesal placed Dr Shabnum under suspension pending inquiry. Immediately lots of protests happened outside the school and students gathered in the main ground and they were chanting against School administration.
