Presently Andhra Pradesh government had decided to shift its administration from Hyderabad to Amravati and previously they have planned to shift the entire administration by June 27th, but with employees were pressurizing the government and the state government had decided to shift the employees in phase till August 31st.
It is stated that while some of the employees have batted for phase wise shift, a section of employees are not happy with the decision of their counterparts and these employees have already found the accommodation in Amravati.
Few employees are now worried about the postponement as they have to pay rents both in Hyderabad and Amravati and they cannot afford to drop from Amravati accommodations as they have given big advances.
The employees also have fear that rents may go up if they let go the rented houses now and come back in couple of months and on the other side, the construction of the interim secretariat in Velagapudi is going on at brisk pace.
