Sources from Chennai have stated that former transport minister of Tamil Nadu Senthil Balaji may be in trouble, as Madras high court has directed crime branch police to go beyond lower level people in the bus crew recruitment scam, and find out to whom the huge tainted money was paid finally.

Justice P.N. Prakash has told that this court is of the view that it is the duty of the police to probe beyond the lower level minions and find out as to where the huge sum of Rs 2 crore has gone.

Meanwhile the government has informed the court that so far 81 people have given complaint to police, alleging that monies were paid to various brokers for getting appointment as conductor and driver in Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation.

The present petition was filed by Gopi who has said that he has collected complaints from individual persons, but has seen to it that the name of the minister did not figure in the complaint in order to shield the minister.
