Mudragada Padmanabham, former minister and Kapu strong man showed his other side after breaking his fast. Mudragada after hard bargaining with the officials and AP CM Chandra Babu finally agreed to break his 13 day fast protesting the arrest of 13 people in connection with Tuni violence.
Many expected him to take this decision couple of days back but he waited till he gained upper hand. Now after breaking his fast on reaching home from the Rajahmundry Government Hospital, he fired on all cylinders.
Hurling abuses he said police thrashed and dragged his son to the police station. He said when he sat on fast unto death, police came to arrest him and broke open the doors of his Kirlampudi house but didnot find fault with them.
He questioned the need for police to indulge in that act with in three hours while normally they do that after 5 days. He said when the police came to arrest him as he sat on fast-unto-death, the doors of his Kirlampudi house were broken open by the police. He did not find fault with the police for breaking the doors.
He vented anger saying while he was given good treatment, his life, daughter-in-law and brother-in-law's wife
were not treated in a dignified manner. He added police abused women of his house in a henious manner.
