Sources from Hyderabad have stated that The Telangana government today undertook plantation of several lakh saplings in and around here as part of the mega 'Haritha Haram' program which was launched three days ago.
It is stated that KTR along with senior executives and employees of various IT companies and senior government officials have planted saplings at the IT Corridor in Gachibowli.
Meanwhile the 'Haritha Haram' program which was catapulted in Nalgonda district on Friday by KCR has aimed at planting 46 crore saplings across the state this monsoon and over 105 government and private organizations participated in program with nearly 4,000 sites across the city witnessed the event.
KCR has told this two week program would be the performance indicator for employees, MPs, MLAs and Ministers to take this initiative seriously as they are obligated to give green and clean environment to our future generations and Cyberabad Security Council, IT professionals, students and personalities from Tollywood also took part in the drive.
