Telangana sources have added that Telangana and AP Governor ESL Narasimhan has advised to the Telangana government to make it compulsory that new construction permission will be granted to those who plant at least 10 saplings for new buildings in Hyderabad has been received well and the response is good in this regard.
Meanwhile the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has instructed Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to study whether the suggestion which was made by Governor can be implemented practically.
As per latest news the GHMC officials have began exercise to include a new clause of plantation in the list of permissions required to construct a new building.
It is stated that KCR has catapulted Haritha Haaram aiming to plant at least 250 crore saplings by next three years and for this year alone the Telangana government has targeted plantation of 46 crore.
