Has the bad period begun for Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, the Assembly Speaker of Andhra Pradesh. It is already known that the controversial speaker made a disturbing statement with media channel regarding election expenses. It took a while for the storm to settle down.
YSRCP petitioned election commission on Kodela 
According to the election affidavits filed, he showed an expense of nearly 30 lakh for his elections in 2014 but on record he reportedly stated that that a sum of 11 crores was spent for the expenses. This was done before camera and things went out of control from there on.
The YSRCP already petitioned the state election commission regarding how Kodela may have filed a false affidavit and now the state election commission has asked the channel concerned (NTV) to send original footage. The case has stirred a hornet's nest.
Now once it is received, the officials will be forwarding it to the Central Election Commission to investigate and take necessary action. If Kodela is indeed held guilty, then it will mark a major victory and revenge of sorts for Jagan’s party! It has to be seen whether Naidu will shield Kodela in this matter.
