Hyderabad sources have stated that a group of film workers are refusing to allow anyone from Hyderabad to participate in shootings in the scenic Araku valley, Vizagapatinam and neighboring places in AP and the group has made it clear that it will not allow film workers from Telangana to work in films that are being made in Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile the apex body of film workers had changed its name from AP film industry employees' federation to Telugu film industry employees' federation more than two years ago, so that an Andhra-Telangana divide would not be felt.

However, it is only lately that differences came out in the open with a group in Vizagapatinam declaring that no film workers from Telangana would be allowed to work in Andhra Pradesh.

It is stated that producers frequently are encountering problems and the federation in Hyderabad is talking to producers as they are being forced to be at the mercy of the group in Visakhapatnam.
