The Indian film industry’s universal hero Kamal Haasan is one celebrity who doesn't like taking back seat when it comes to voicing out his opinion on various issues and the actor, has presently being recuperated from leg injury, has tossed some interesting and thought-provoking comments over the ongoing rift between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and Cauvery river.
Meanwhile when reacting to latest series of
incidents in both states, the actor has tweeted that he feels embarrassed for
such activities which mirror out the history in a bad sense and has also expressed
his views in a couple of tweets written in Tamil language, 'River Cauvery began
its flow even before the existence of languages and it will continue to flow in
coming generations too.'
It was added that the rift on river Cauvery caught
attention of everyone starting from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Superstar
Rajinikanth, after Kannadigas protest over Supreme Court's judgment to state
asking to release 12000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu.
Kamal Haasan is currently working on a bilingual
film titled Naidu (in Telugu) which also has actor's daughter Shruti Haasan portraying
a predominant role.
