Politicians and corruption charges are always like milk and water. Without doubt there will not be a single politician in this entire country who has not been used to bribes, kickbacks or some corrupt practice. In that situation, the TDP president Chandrababu Naidu cannot be an exception.
But that’s the beauty of democracy, no politician is ever prosecuted. The discussion now is about Babu and the cases filed against him at the Lokayukta. Not only him, the names of his son Lokesh, his close aide Ramoji Rao and a dozen others are also part of it and the cases have been filed by the junior lawyers of the Telangana advocates.
The hearing has been kept for April 26th. These are the days when cases filed at the regular High Court and Supreme Court take decades to get resolved so technically it could be a long time before something is proved against Babu. And if he comes to power in 2014 then we can forget the whole thing ever happened.
