Telangana sources have stated that it seems Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his son and IT minister KT Rama Rao are presently competing with each other to get highest number of followers on social media and in a fresh report, KCR's CMO (Chief Minister Office) has got the highest number of followers on Facebook followed by KTR.
Meanwhile the CMO has 4.57 lakh followers while KTR has registered 3.50 lakh followers on face book and interestingly, KTR speech at the catapult of Apple Development Centre in Hyderabad has reached more than one crore people which is higher than the KCR office has reached people in August month.
When recognizing social media as a tool to reach
people and explain the government's efforts in making Bangaru Telangana, KTR has
already created Digital Wing in his department and has asked the officials to conduct
an orientation programs in association with Face book for government officials
of all departments.
Sources have added that the Orientation Programme
on Effective Use of Facebook for Government Communications will help empower
and enable departments to leverage their presence on Facebook and meet
organizational objectives.
