The relation between India and Pakistan has always been too complex. Ever since the partition happened, the India-Pakistan relationship is plagued by suspicion and hostility. However, if war happens, the damage will be catastrophic on both the sides.

India has a GDP 8 times higher than that of Pakistan. It also has Healthier and steadier economy.

India ranks 4th in the Global Firepower (GFP) ranking. India has an upper hand over Pakistan above the sea and also in air. Pakistan (ranked 17th in the GFP ranking) has no aircraft carriers

Pakistan is having a tug of war between the Government, Military and the Intelligence Agencies about who really runs the country. But India has a steady democracy since Independence.
India is sure having its head high and it can show its superiority in ground forces. Pakistan can respond only with Nuclear weapons. So if a war breaks out, there would be assured loss of innocent lives and economic instability in both the Nations.
