KCR is the doyen of the Telangana agitation which was revived after a long time, in 2001. Though there have been several ups and downs in his path, he has never swerved from his chosen path and this culminated in his indefinite fast in December 2009 which led to the declaration of a separate state formation process by centre.
At the same time votaries of T-movement also denounce the feudal ways and dominating attitude of KCR which is creating impediments to the formation of a separate state. KCR is known for his arrogant nature where he doesn’t entertain anyone else stealing the limelight and his so-called negations with Congress high command that hasn’t yielded anything productive.
The same was reflected in the parliament on March 18th when he marched forward for a resolution on Telangana without consulting BJP, a strong supporter of the movement and the main opposition in the parliament. Taken aback by his policy of non-consultation BJP didn’t lend any support and instead Advani expressed his dissatisfaction against KCR in parliament.
