The state budget was presented recently by minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy and just like how the central budget was, even our state didn’t have anything to feel proud of. In one line it was a mere jugglery of numbers. The government has earmarked Rs 25900 crores with many riders.  With such a small budget they have linked a total of 14 departments which is unacceptable. It is looking clear that the government didn’t take any measures to have the minimum support price (MSP). Inside sources reveal that the government was concentrating on merchant power policy than the people.  The state’s people is suffering from power crisis but it is heard that the power is being sold to other states at higher rates. Infrastructural setbacks again happened with the Bandar Port getting allotted only Rs 72 lakhs as compared to the last year’s allocation of Rs 1 crore. How can we see growth if this is the case.
