The most challenging phase for any party head is during the election time because the tickets have to be given to the right candidates and the ticket to aspirant ratio is nothing less than 1:60. So, it is obvious that there will be many who are disappointed if they don’t get the ticket and start creating issues.  That phase seems to have begun already for the Telugu Desam Party if sources are to be believed. It is heard that many of the sitting MLAs are seeing a wave of opposition within their local constituencies and as a result they are keen to contest from other surrounding areas.  But this is posing threat to the already existing local leaders there. Due to this, it is heard that a severe internal fight is brewing up and some of the leaders are already conveying to the party command that if they don’t have it their way then they have no choice but to quit TDP and join some other party, mostly the growing YSR Congress. How Chandrababu Naidu will deal this has to be seen.
