Three years back Andhra Pradesh was a competent state and Hyderabad looked at its best shape to vie against big cities like Chennai and Mumbai. But one man’s act changed the total scene. It was the TRS president KCR and his fasting which pressed the panic button in UPA camp and they did the biggest blunder of making a statement on December 9th.
This led to a series of events, incidents and today the state has fallen back in many ways and Hyderabad brand has got totally spoiled. In a way, the credit must be given to KCR’s fasting as he achieved all this. But can the TDP MLAs achieve something for a better reason. Currently, many TDP members are doing hunger strike near old MLA quarters.
This is regarding the decision on power tariff hike and the opposition wants the prices to remain same. It is heard that the health condition of many are deteriorating but they are not giving up. As of now, the government seems unfazed but if things get critical can TDP strike it like KCR and bring relief to the people? Let us wait and see.
