As an opposition party the Telugu Desam should actually look at ways and means of criticizing the governance of the Congress party and they must be able to come up with a protest that can strike a chord with the people and bring them under the confidence. But what TDP is doing right now doesn’t really cause any effect.
It is heard that the TDP leaders in districts like Guntur and other areas have begun taking the signature campaign and the agenda behind this is to show the people protest against the government for the steep power hike. But of what use is a signature campaign? Will it really bring a change?
Till sometime back, the TDP MLAs were doing hunger strike at old MLA quarters and that was stopped and now this signature campaign. Many feel that more than a signature campaign it would really work if TDP could come up with other initiatives involving the people. Is Chandrababu Naidu listening?
