By this time the next year the atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh is going to be very hot and it is not because of the summer but because of the election fever. The assembly elections are happening in 2014 and the current ruling party Congress is doing everything it can to retain its power and stay on top. The Congress will be led into the election battle by Kiran Kumar Reddy the current Chief Minister but the point of discussion is, will Kiran remain as CM if congress regains power in 2014? Some of them feel it may not be so. Under current situation, Kiran has been facing a lot of resistance internally. Though Kiran has overcome many obstacles the support for him is not that strong inside congress, as per sources. But the good thing for him is the high command’s support. But still, the high command is only focusing on winning the 2014 elections so it could be that once they are through that, thoughts might go towards shifting Kiran from that chair. Who could be an ideal replacement for Kiran then?
