Under the direction of Congress high command and also his own set of political compulsions, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is all set and determined to see that YSR’s legacy is wiped off from AP Congress. This has already begun two years ago with YSR’s photos missing from most of the party events and government programs.
Now, it is heard that Kiran has announced some ambitious programs for SC’s and ST’s allocating 1000 crores towards providing facilities to colonies where they reside and is all set to revive SC and ST finance corporations’ which were shut down by the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.
With only one year to go for elections, analysts say that by targeting Jagan already, it is only matter of time before the party rids itself of all things associated with YSR. It would be a challenging task because YSR had created a strong impact among the downtrodden so it remains to be seen how successful Kiran will be.
