AP Speaker Nadendla Manohar took an expected decision before the assembly sessions commenced on June 10th. He disqualified all the 15 MLAs (9 Congress and 6 TDP) for defying their party whips during the vote on the no-confidence motion in March. TDP ask their members to abstain in the voting. Speaker release the list of MLAs to the media and defended the decision as per the Tenth schedule of the Constitution.

Congress party should take enough care for their disqualification. All 15 Jagan group MLAs have a chance to vote against Govt if TDP proposes NCM against Congress Govt. As per recent comments of CEC that EC wouldn’t conduct any bi-elections within one year of the existing Assembly tenure. Speaker pending the decision on three TDP MLAs. Arguments are still going on these MLAs.

This is expected set back to Jagan group MLAs. They did not met the Speaker even later issue the summons to appear before him. 15 MLAs expect that it took time to finish the process. Reportedly, some of these requests Speaker personally on extension of the decision. But Congress took revenge on all the above. If they continuing in office they might chance to do some development works in their segments. Now officials haven’t listened their requests. They haven’t in a position to do any good thing to their voters. 15 MLAs blame nexus between TDP and Congress on their disqualification. They have to wait to check their fortunes till 2014.
