After realizing that victory in Mahabubnagar may not be that easy this time around, TRS Supremo KCR is mulling options to shift towards some safe constituency where he can win without slogging too hard. He is reported to have zeroed in on Medak, which is currently represented by Vijayashanthi.
But then Ramulamma has already made it clear that she will not be able to vacate that seat for anyone and if KCR himself is planning to contest from there, then she will decide based on which seat is being offered to her. But TRS is unable to offer any alternative seat for her.
At the same time Harish Rao’s assembly constituency which falls within Medak is also a plus factor for KCR. Meanwhile T-JAC is reportedly pushing hard on TRS to see that they allocate Medak seat for the organization and there is a lot of support for Devi Prasad to contest here and Kodanda is reportedly pushing KCR not to place any candidate in this region.
If none of these options are working then many are feeling that both Vijayashanti and TJAC will emerge as the two big dangers that will break the TRS. This is a sensitive time as elections are approaching so a lot depends on KCR and the strategy he will take to resolve this.
