The appointment of the controversy-prone Congressman Diggy Raja as general secretary of three states of Andhra Pradesh and Goa has already sparked off a lighter banter in  social media.

 Known for his vicious banter against BJP Diggy Raja has attracted both slander and blitzkrieg on twitter and Face book. ‘Let us hope for a bout of tickling controversies from the prolific political spin-doctor ‘said a handle on twitter.

 66 year old Diggy had   spun many a mini-tornado in the media when he referred to the slain Al-Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden as "Osamaji" besides calling RSS as a ‘bed mate of Al-Qaeda in the 26/11 terror attack.

 "Goa will be entertained to item-numbers whether you solicit them or not by the former Rajah ‘said a university professor at the Goa University on Facebook post.

 While the Congress is in power in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, in tiny Goa, in contrast, the BJP gave it a thumping defeat in the 2012 polls.

  The Congress's crippling defeat came on the watch of Congress general secretary Jagmeet Singh Brar and secretary in-charge of Goa Sudhakar Reddy. ‘Both were lost to Feni and brought disaster to congress. In Diggy Raja the congress hopes to gain soaring spirits’
