Was YSR a real crook? The CBI says so. The former CM not only made his son a crorepati but also almost every one in his family and friends entourage.
CBI special report on YSR family shows that, 32 members of YSR’s including relatives etc of Vijayalakshmi etc were the major beneficiaries in land sanctions, projects and contracts. Few have them (235 of them to be exact) are still working in Secretariat on deputation from Railways and also Govt of India service. Most of them bought land on ORR belt and made huge pie after Government altered ORR plans twice . In all 1351 names mentioned by CBI in the special report of YSR's kith and kin who got benefit out of him .
Among family members were his brother and sister’s children, even Suridu’s family, Anil’s family. Fifteen of the family members even got Govt quarters fitting rank of IAS and IPS officers. Many Journalists were appointed as PROs in Govt institutions like NIMS, TTD, and Ministers and SEZ’s
The CBI says how then chief minister Y S Rajasekhara made V Vijay Sai Reddy his family auditor and also of Jagan firms, as a director of Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) for three years . YSR wrote a letter strongly recommending to then Union finance minister P Chidambaram that Vijay Sai be made a director of RBI.
